Best New Bridal Retailer Finalist - Bridal Buyer Awards Tonight!

There is some very exciting news Louise and the team at Louise Perry Bridal would like to share with you all – earlier this year Louise was entered into the running for an award at the Bridal Buyer awards, for the award of Best New Retailer, and she has made it to the finals which will be held tonight in Harrogate!

We thought this would be a great chance to take a minute and let everyone know why and how Louise Perry Bridal got started. Louise got married in 2014 and her experience dress buying is what inspired her to open her very own boutique. Louise struggled to find high fashion dresses in anything over a size 16. I think every bride knows that sometimes after looking at lots of dresses they can all end up looking the same after weeks and months of looking, and Louise knew she was looking for something different, but like lots of other brides, struggled to find something that didn’t look like every other wedding dress.

So, she decided to open her own bridal store and stock dresses from some of her favourite designers, that make the bold, show stopping statement she knew lots of brides are looking for.  The Demetrios, Cosmobella, and Ronald Joyce collections have proved to be massively succesful with our brides and never cease to give people that wow factor and bring tears the eyes lots of our brides and bridesmaids, and brides mothers!

For the past two years, Louise has worked tirelessly to get the boutique up and running, and all whilst working full time at her ‘day job’ in admin management – no small task, but she has done an amazing job and it is absolutely wonderful to see all her hard work being recognised by others in the industry.

A fun fact some of you may not know is that it is not just Louise who has decided to take on the wedding industry.  Her husband as well, who by day (and night) is a doctor in Accident and Emergency, now spends his weekends working as a very successful wedding photographer.  Louise and Richard are truly inspirational, and their hard work and determination to take on their dream careers and make it happen is something everyone thinks about doing but sometimes doesn’t have the guts to do, and they have done it with gusto.

So please keep everything crossed for Louise Perry Bridal and we will let you all know how it goes after the winner is announced at the awards ceremony tonight!

Until then, happy planning ladies xoxox
