Brides Revisited - Fay

At Louise Perry Bridal, we know you'd love to know more about our how our happy brides got on with their wonderful weddings.  This month, we've decided to catch up with our bride Fay, to find out more about how her big day went, and what advice she has for brides planning their future weddings.

Q. Did you already have an idea about the type of dress you wanted to buy prior to buying your own wedding dress or were you open to multiple styles?

I did have a certain style in my mind - I knew I definitely wanted sleeves however I didn't know what kind of body I wanted. Louise picked out a few dresses for me and I found my dream dress very quickly. I had lace sleeves as desired but the rest of the dress I hadn't really thought of until I tried it on.

Q. How did you find the experience of planning your wedding and what tips would you give our brides that are currently planning their big days?

I loved wedding planning - my main tip for other brides would be do bits yourself if you can! I've always loved doing crafts and found lots of great ideas on Pinterest.

Q. How did you find your experience shopping with Louise Perry Bridal?

Really good. I tried on many dresses and didn't feel rushed during my appointment. I went away to think about it and made another appointment again after a couple of weeks and finally purchased my dress. I also really enjoyed the accessory appointment - it isn't all over after you've picked the dress!

Q. Was there anything you worried about regarding your wedding planning that you wish you hadn't?

I'm sure it's natural for all brides to worry, I certainly did my fair share! However the day is about family, friends and of course marrying the love of your life! You (hopefully) only do it once so enjoy and treasure your day.

Q. What were your top three moments from the whole day?

Putting my dress on and getting ready, saying 'I do' in the church, and when the band came on in the evening.

Q. How did you feel in your dress on the day?

Like a princess - I plan to wear it every's way too pretty to only wear once ;)

Fay chose a stunning Demetrios dress, with sparkling lace bodice and long sleeves, beaded belt and a tulle A-line skirt.
