My Predictions for Meghan Markle's Wedding Dress!
Well we've all been speculating and holding our breath to see what Meghan Markle will be wearing on her wedding day, and thankfully, we won't have to wait much longer! I'd love to be able to say she came into my little boutique for some wedding dress inspiration, but unfortunately I can't claim that! ;) So here are my predictions for Meghan Markle's wedding outfits and some similar suggestions from my own collections.
Two Wedding Dresses
Similar to Kate, I think Meghan will have two wedding gowns, not one. She is a complex woman who knows her own mind and I would guess that her 'ideal' wedding gown would not necessarily meet the requirements of a very public Royal Wedding.
Therefore I'm expecting a twist on a traditional dress for the ceremony and something sexier and pared back for later on.
The Ceremony Dress
There are many expectations for this gown, and with it being a royal wedding, also many requirements. It cannot be too sexy or revealing and it may be hard to resit the features the public will want to see (e.g. a long train, tiara etc). Therefore I think Meghan will indulge her inner little girl with a twist on a fairytale and whimsical wedding dress. I predict long sleeves, a high neckline and maybe a hint of regal gold. Although I don't think she will go for a huge skirt, she will probably have a long train. Materials such as tulle will make it look ethereal and unstructured.
The Second Wedding Dress
This is the dress I would have expected Meghan to choose for her wedding had it not had the 'Royal' requirements. I'm expecting a simple, sexy sheath dress with little or no embellishment, stunning in it's simplicity. She has admired Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's wedding dress and this is absolutely Meghan's style. My prediction is a high neck and low, cowl back sheath dress with a small train.
So those are my predictions for Meghan Markle's wedding dress! Do you agree with them? What are your predictions?
